According to reports made earlier this month about Apple ordering up 4-inch displays for its next iPhone. Today it as been confirmed that Apple is in the process of testing their new model with a larger and higher-resolution display.
iPhone 5,1 and iPhone 5,2 are presently being tested, it is said that both variants will be equipped with a 3.95-inch screen displaying a 1136 x 640 resolution. This would certainly break the 3:2 aspect ratio which as always been apart of apples intentions. With word of iOS 6 also being worked on, there are many more features to be added like a fifth row of icons to the homescreen and extended interfaces within apps to let you see more content.
For a while now it as been rumored that the iPhone dock connector will be revised, giving it a much smaller and narrow design that's some what between the size of a Micro-USB and Mini-USB connector.
With so much more time until the release of the new iPhone which is said to be couple months away from now, gives Apple time to change designs and maybe incorporate many more features into the new model. We'll just have to wait and see what surfaces next.
